The hemodialysis catheter works by inserting the catheter into the central venous system and connecting the hemodialysis line to the dialysis machine. The blood of dialysis patients containing metabolic waste is inhaled from the catheter artery end, through the circulation pipeline and dialysis machine, dialysis diffusion, convection and adsorption and other physical mechanisms, to remove excessive water and toxins in the body, regulate the patient's electrolyte and acid-base balance, and purify the blood at the catheter venous end is pumped back to the central vein of the human body.
Features of hemodialysis catheter:
The catheter is made from premium silicone, which has excellent biocompatibility.
The tip of the Catheter is smooth to avoid damage to the vessel wall.
The Dacron cuff is placed under the skin which can form adhesion with the subcutaneous tissue, protect immigration of catheter and reduce the chance of CRBI.

2.HC kits with Y-shaped introducer needle configuration are also available upon discussion.The product code of HC kitwith Y-shaped introducer needle configuration is different from the product code of HC kit with straight introducer needle configuration.Before you order, please clarify which configuration you request, either straight or Y-shaped introducer needle.
3.Pediatric types of HC include double lumen 6.5Fr and 8.SFr.
4.Adult types of HC include single lumen 7Fr, 8Fr; double lumen 10Fr,11.SFr, 12Fr, 14Fr and triple lumen 12Fr.
5."FR" in the product code means with soft tip.
6."FH" in the product code means without soft tip(i. e. with relatively harder tip).
7.Pre-curved catheter is available for adult type in double lumen 11.5Fr, 12Fr, 14Fr.
